Blogger test

I'm going to cancel my Squarespace website hosting account. It's just not worth $165/yr to me. This Blogger account has be lying dormant for years but it may be a good and free way to share travel photography and commentary.

So this is a test.

Here is a photo:

This movie doesn't seem
to want to play!
WTF??

The resurrected blog

It's been a while since I needed this blog... and even then, it was simply as a means to leave a comment on our friend David's blog. But now, unfortunately, I also need it to keep a large group of concerned friends informed about Pam's medical situation.

This is a test to make sure that I'm still able to publish to the blog. Once I see that it's functioning properly, I'll try to fill you in on our situation... at least so far as we've progressed.

Let me just say in advance that we really appreciate the heartfelt concern that many of you have expressed and your offers to help us out in any way you can have been very generous. This has been a pretty crazy journey so far and we don't know where it will take us yet. But we feel your love and want you to know that we love you too.

I'll get to writing soon.

nuthin' is easy

This morning's email included a link to my friend David's blog. He's going through a month of radiation treaments for prostate cancer, and is going to chronicle the process. I thought I'd leave a comment on his blog; just a note to say hihowareyagoodluck... and a half hour later, here I sit typing the first entry in my own blog. WTF. Believe me, I never wanted this. I was forced to invent a username, password, blog title and swear I had read terms and conditions.

So now.... that I've jumped through all the blogger hoops, I can finally log on to his site and post my three sentance note. Nuthin' is easy.
